The roe buck hunting season begins on April 15. During this period, before vegetation becomes dense, hunting is easier and mature trophy bucks can be taken efficiently. We can also organize successful hunts for larger groups during this time.

The strongest trophies are typically found in the Great Hungarian Plain. In our partner areas in Békés and Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok counties, excellent value-for-money opportunities are available.

The most exciting period is the rut (mid-July to mid-August), when bucks are more active and responsive to calls. Even elusive old “hermit bucks” may appear.

Roe buck hunting is available throughout most of Hungary.
